Having grown up with deaf parents using sign language as their first language, I was fascinated by the possibility of expressing myself again with my hands when I entered university. Signed with artist Mai Nagumo and programmer Hideyuki Kodama, she conducts experiments to research and express visual body language, and holds workshops at museums. Currently enrolled in a doctoral course at the University of Tokyo Graduate School of Advanced Expression Informatics.
